The Office of the Inspector General is an independent agency charged with preventing and detecting fraud, waste, and abuse in the expenditure of public funds. The office of IG is responsible for establishing a full time program of investigation, audit inspection and performance to review and to provide increased accountability and oversight of entities of city government and entities receiving funds through the city.
