“Art on Oak”, the premier event for Oak Street’s merchants
and art community has returned home from the storm; and it’s better than ever.
Visit the 8500 block shops to pick up a map and itinerary (see attached); and
be sure to join us as stores hang their multi-colored flags and
open their doors in celebration of the unique creative spirit that
is always on Oak Street.
Come to enjoy the talent, the refreshment, the entertainment and….
each other.
Capoeira will perform at 7:00. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form
that fuses dance, music, self-defense, and acrobatics. It is energetic,
joyful, and exposes people to a new language, music, movement, and culture.
