BZA Location Change
Please be advised that the location of the October 9, 2006 meeting of the Board of Zoning Adjustments has been switched from City Council Chambers to the City Planning Commission conference room, located in Suite 9W03 on the ninth floor of City Hall. The meeting will be called to order at 10:00 a.m.

The lovely Dublin/Nelson neighborhood has been saddled by this empty lot for years. The proposed idea is not the answer. The big box usage of this property would not have been tolerated before the hurricane and shouldn’t be now. While something useful to the neighborhood will be welcomed, making this lovely part of New Orleans look like “ANY TOWN USA” is the worst of ideas.You must reconsider this. We’ve lost so much as it is. Please let us keep our uniqueness. I can easily move to Arkansas and have heat and humidity. New Orleans offers much more. DON’T SELL OUT. P. Forsburg
