Walgreens Thumbs Its Nose
This from Shelley Miduras website
Walgreen’s at Carrollton & Claiborne
Update coming soon but decision has been deferred until the council meeting on September 7, 2006 while the Councilmember explores other options after being informed that Walgreen’s will not under any circumstances obey the city’s zoning laws and refuses to offer any compromise that will.
I guess that sums up their Good Neighbor Policy
It seems that Walgreens has only seen fit to communicate with our Neighbors across Carrollton. And ignore the fact that the site is within the boundaries of our Neighborhood.

I for one will not be shopping at Walgreens any time soon. This is the latest episode in the ongoing blockbuster series, “Corporate Desperados.”
This is unconscionable.

I’ll not be using Walgreens either. They don’t to play nice with us, we don’t have to shop there.

1.”No Condo’s Uptown” signs won the Condo fight on Dublin near Leake. 2.
2. “Anyone But Batt” signs helped to get Shelley Midura elected.
3. Does anyone want to put a sign in front of their house “Anyone But Walgreen’s” ??? We know where to get signs made cheap!
